Hi Lynn,since you have no backfire you might want to leave well enough alone .No need to re-jet carb ,i didnt .i do like the less restrictive air filter although i dont like the look of the K&N.I Simply cut out paper element and repaced with 1/2 thick foam siliconed in its place.I Also run an open exhaust:::/::::: <~~~~ 1 plate baffle very loud ,need it here in VA very congested,if they dont see me they wll hear me!Sounds like your happy with yours ,thats great now just enjoy it and be safe.If you need any help at all we are here,take care and thanks for the reply..Giro
